The Multi-Cultural Golf Association of America Teams Up With Air Force

Colorado Springs, Colorado - The MGAA in conjunction with the Air Force Association, Colorado Aerospace Education and National Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament, will be conducting a junior golf and empowerment program for kids from the USAF Academy, and the USAF Academy Boys & Girls Club. John David, President of the MGAA, Inc., along with Mike Gorton, the National Long Drive Champion, and staff will be demonstrating the fundamentals of golf for approximately 40 kids from the Academy.

The clinic will be held at the Golf Academy on May 23, 2000, at 4:30 PM. Celebrities attending the event includes Ambassador John E. Upston, Ret., members and former members of congress, local celebrities, special guests, and media. Mike Gorton the National Long Drive Champion will demonstrate the golf skills that brought him the Championship, and John David, head MGAA golf instructor, will stress the basic fundamentals to a simplistic golf swing, designed for results.
