Researching the internet is accomplished with tools called search engines. One of the earliest and best known engine is called Yahoo. Nowadays there are many search engines one can use to search a topic on the internet. Most browsers today come with a net search button. This button will automatically take you to a search engine home page. Other well known engines include AOL NetFind, AltaVista, WebCrawler, Excite, Infoseek, Lycos, and others.
