It's important to start thinking about these things now.  And guess what--you'll keep thinking about them even after you grow up, because most of us will change jobs and careers several times.

Some of us know what we want to do from the time we're very young.  Tiger Woods knew he loved to play golf and what he wanted to do with his life long before he started school.

Many of us have to think about it a little more before we decide.  That's part of the fun!!  It starts with thinking about all the things you like to do.  And trying new things to see if you enjoy doing them.   Finding out what certain jobs are really all about is another part of it.   Talking to people in different career areas is a great way to do this.

When you find something you might be interested in, you'll want to find out how people prepare for that career, what skills they have, how they learned what they needed to know.
