The Minority Golf Association of America, Inc. will hopefully start a caddy program at one of its locations around the country.
The art of caddying is a lost art that this organization would like to see return. The attributes are many, and for the youth of today, we believe there is no better way to spend leisure time than on the golf course and making a few dollars in the sport you love.
The MGAA is targeting the year 2000 to implement and work out the bugs in this program. The steps being taken are:
Devise program/strategy
Select site
Find sponsor
Select participants
Sign up willing golf courses
As we work on this plan, we will be updating this site to keep our readers and members informed as to the progress this program is making.
